Warranty Policy

Custom adhesives are designed for specific surfaces and conditions.

• Installation Surface: Warranty only applies to graphics applied to clean, smooth, non-porous surfaces. We are not responsible for peeling or failure caused by application to oxidized paint, textured plastics, or surfaces with wax/silicone coatings.

• Edge Lifting: Lifting caused by high-pressure power washing or mechanical car washes is not covered.

• Removal: While our vinyl is generally removable, Alef By Cordoba is not responsible for any paint damage or adhesive residue left behind during the removal process, especially on aged or repainted surfaces.

Banners are high-exposure items and require proper securing to stay covered.

• Wind Damage: Banners act as sails. Damage caused by high wind events (common in the Permian Basin), including torn grommets or ripped hems, is considered an "Act of Nature" and is not covered.

• Installation: To maintain warranty coverage, banners must be secured using all provided grommets with even tension. Over-tightening or using only corner grommets can cause premature failure.

• Storage: Creasing or ink transfer caused by folding a banner instead of rolling it (printed side out) is not covered.

Magnetic signs require active maintenance to prevent damage to your vehicle.

• Daily Maintenance: Magnets must be removed and the surface cleaned daily to prevent moisture buildup and road grime from trapped between the magnet and the vehicle.

• Heat & Bonding: In extreme West Texas heat, magnets can "bond" to the paint if left on for extended periods. Alef By Cordoba is not responsible for paint damage or magnetic "baking."

• High-Speed Loss: We do not warrant magnets against flying off the vehicle at highway speeds. Ensure the magnet is perfectly flat with no air gaps before driving.

Our garment prints are designed to be durable, but their lifespan depends entirely on laundering habits.

• Laundering Requirement: Warranty is void if garments are washed in hot water or dried on high heat. For maximum longevity, we require washing inside-out in cold water and hang-drying or low-heat tumbling.

• Cracking & Peeling: We warrant against adhesive failure (peeling) for 90 days. However, natural "distressing" or minor cracking over time due to the stretching of the fabric is considered normal wear and tear.

• Chemical Exposure: Damage caused by direct ironing of the print, bleaching, or the use of harsh industrial detergents is not covered.

Embroidery is our most durable branding method, but it can be damaged by mechanical snags.

• Unraveling: We warrant against thread unravelling or "nesting" due to embroidery tension issues for 90 days.

• Mechanical Damage: Damage caused by "pilling" of the garment, snags from jewelry or seatbelts, or holes created by friction against the embroidery backing are not covered.

• Hoop Marks: On certain delicate fabrics, a temporary "hoop mark" may be visible upon delivery. This is a standard part of the process and usually disappears after the first steam or wash; it is not considered a defect.

Engraving is a permanent physical change to the material, making it highly durable.

• Tumbler Finishes: For powder-coated tumblers, our warranty covers the precision of the engraving itself. We do not warrant the manufacturer's original coating against chipping, peeling, or dishwasher damage (unless the bottle is explicitly marked as dishwasher safe).

• Natural Materials: For wood engraving, variations in grain, knots, and "char" depth are natural characteristics of the material and are not considered defects.

• Acrylic & Glass: Cracking or shattering caused by dropping the item or exposure to extreme temperature shifts (thermal shock) is not covered under warranty.
