Application Instructions


Preparation.
  • Before fixing the Banner to a base or flat surface, be sure it is well secured and sturdy against the locations’ elements.


  • Prior to securing, check your rope or fasteners have the correct strength for the intended purpose.


  • The Banner should be at room temperature when securing it.


  • Take care when handling the Banner in cold conditions, as it can become brittle.


Location.
  • Ensure it is visible, well secured, and avoid from obstructing signs (i.e., Road Signs, Safety Signs, City Signs, etc.).


  • Don’t secure the Banner on an area that is too exposed to the environment, or that has extensive UV-Rays. As color will begin to fade at a faster rate.


  • Fix the Banner onto the Base or Flat Surface.


  • Make sure the entire Banner it is tightened properly at the base, or it is flat against the flat surface.


  • Ensure there are no air pockets or moisture between the Banner and the flat surface.


  • To tighten the Banner, begin at the uppermost opposing corners and move your way downwards. Please note, this is only a recommendation and can be fixed in many ways.


Storage.
  • Never fold, and always roll your banner with the design towards the inside.


  • Before storing, or rolling, makes sure your banner is completely dry. Do Not store if it is wet or damp.


  • Store in a cool, dry location.


Warnings


Failure to review and abide by these warnings could result in damage to the Banner or your property, and could increase the likelihood that the Banner may fall during use.


  • Never use a Banner if it tore or damaged in any form.


  • Never have a Banner out during high wind times.


  • Long-term outdoor usage of Banners on painted surfaces may result in fading, due to shielding the underlying color from ultraviolet rays.


  • Make sure to remove the Banner from any base or flat surface before cleaning it.


  • Clean with a soft, damp, mixture of water and soap, rag. Working around the imprinted area as much as possible. This could cause the print to scratch or lose color at a faster rate than normal.


  • Avoid using any Harsh Substance such as, but not limited to: Chemical Cleaners, Scrubber Sponges, Paper Towels, and Solvents (Paint Thinner, Acetone, Alcohol, Gasoline, etc.)


  • Do not allow the banner to have ink to ink contact with itself or any other type of print or paint.


  • Never use rubber bands to secure the banner, it will cause creases.

ALEF BY CORDOBA, ALONG WITH ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR OTHER ASSOCIATES, WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CLAIMS, LOSSES, OR DAMAGES INCURRED BY THE BANNER, THE AFFIXED SURFACE, OR ANY OTHER PROPERTY OR INDIVIDUAL. THIS ENCOMPASSES, BUT IS NOT RESTRICTED TO, DAMAGES STEMMING FROM PERSONAL INJURY DUE TO THE IMPROPER USE, MISUSE, OR FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE PROVIDED INSTRUCTIONS.
