Any Form of Shirt Print

(HTV, HTP, DTP, & Screen Print)

Taking care of printed apparel is crucial to ensuring the longevity and vibrancy of the prints. Here are some general guidelines to help you maintain the quality of your printed clothing:

Read Care Instructions: Always check the care label on the garment for specific instructions. Different fabrics and prints may require specific care methods.

Wait at least 24 hours before washing: The Thermo adhesive layer needs time to crystallize and sink down into the fabric fibers. If you wash and dry too soon, there’s a good chance the print could peel or crack.

Washing Instructions:

  • Turn Inside Out: Washing your printed apparel inside out helps protect the print from friction and abrasion during the washing cycle.

  • Gentle Cycle: Use a gentle or delicate cycle on your washing machine to minimize wear and tear.

  • Cold Water: Wash in cold water to prevent colors from fading and to preserve the integrity of the print.

Use Mild Detergent: Opt for a mild detergent to avoid harsh chemicals that can damage prints and colors.

Avoid Bleach and Dry-Cleaning: Bleach can fade and discolor prints. Avoid using bleach or any harsh chemicals on printed apparel. The harsh temperature and solvent-based solutions that are used during dry-clean may damage the print.

Air Dry or Low Heat: While machine drying is convenient, air drying or using a low heat setting in the dryer is gentler on prints and fabrics.

Avoid Ironing Directly on Prints: If ironing is necessary, turn the garment inside out and use a low-temperature setting. Avoid ironing directly on the print to prevent damage.

Store Carefully: Hang or fold your printed apparel neatly to prevent wrinkles and maintain the shape of the garment.

Avoid Sun Exposure: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can fade prints over time. Store your clothing in a cool, dark place when not in use.

Handle with Clean Hands: Avoid handling printed areas with dirty or greasy hands, as oils and dirt can affect the print.

Be Mindful of Abrasion: Avoid rubbing the printed area against rough surfaces or abrasive materials, as this can cause the print to wear off.

By following these care tips, you can extend the life of your printed apparel and keep it looking vibrant and fresh for a longer duration. Always remember to check specific care instructions provided by the manufacturer for the best results.
